How does it work?

We use HomeAgain Pet ID services to help reunite pet owners with their lost pets. If your pet goes missing, you will need to contact HomeAgain right away. A notification will be quickly sent to all shelters, pet hospitals, and other similar locations in the area alerting them about the lost pet.

If the pet is found at one of these shelters or clinics, they will be scanned for the HomeAgain chip which will reveal the pet’s information and the owner’s contact information. When this happens, HomeAgain will contact the pet owner informing them of the pet’s location. The result is that the pets and their owners are finally reunited!

At Hayfield Animal Hospital we offer the highest quality emergency vet care and pet treatment in the local area. Give us a call to receive quality veterinary treatment and care for your pet in Alexandria, VA by calling us at (703) 971-2127 today.
